Center blocks

Odd or even size? Odd sizes have a single center block, so a 1-block door or path lines up cleanly. Even sizes have a 2×2 center.

FAQ

How do you make an oval in Minecraft?

Set a width and height in the generator. It marks every block whose center falls inside the ellipse. Build it row by row from the list, the same way as a circle.

What is the WorldEdit command for an oval?

Use //hcyl <block> <x radius>,<z radius> 1 for an outline or //cyl for a filled oval. For a 21 × 13 oval that is //hcyl stone 10,6 1.

Can I make an egg shape?

An egg is wider at one end, which an ellipse is not. Build an oval and then widen one end by hand, or join two ovals of different heights.

Does it work for Bedrock?

Yes. The blueprint is the same on Java and Bedrock.
